About

A little bit about Erin

Erin is a Canadian born audiobook narrator of over 300 titles. She has coached with: Sean Pratt (narration), PJ Ochlan (accents), Erin Moon, and Jessie Bickford. She practices vocal privately and is part of the Amabile Women's Choir.

Her middle name is versatility. With her snarky narration and sassy characters she breathes life into all audiobooks she has the pleasure of narrating. Sassy, snarky, and soulful. Think Little Miss Smarty Pants meets Carrie Bradshaw.

Erin's favorite genres are Thriller, Mystery, Fantasy, and who doesn't love an alien?

In another life Erin was a radio broadcaster working with Classic Rock, Top 40, Country, and Metal.

When not in the studio Erin can be found in her local greenhouse working with tropical flora, sharing her wealth of horticultural knowledge, and enjoying life with her three kids and two dogs, Roxy, the English Mastiff, and Harley, the Golden Retriever.

Erin Bateman is a fantastic Narrator with a really great voice to listen to. She has a great range of both male and female voices, with a clear and concise voice, and distinct voices for each character. Bateman also provides the emotional state of each of the characters as she tells the story, so that you know how the characters are feeling as the story unfolds, whether that be happy or sad, angry, elated, or in Soo-Jin’s case, most likely about to do someone harm.
